Clever! Although I’ve noticed a lot of these types of ads wouldn’t explain themselves to a lot of people. They either would have to look at it for a while (which I feel great advertising needs to take a few seconds to be understood) OR read the teeny tiny small print down the bottom “Don’t coffee-block your smile”. Then you have the image of teeth whitening gum, the product.
Making that line bigger would increase the amount of people who go “AH! CLEVER!” but oh well, I still <3 these neat ideas!

Scottish Cup Final
Hearts took to the streets of Edinburgh to proudly show off the Cup they won in yesterdays match against Hibs. The 5-1 score was something to be incredibly proud off and the turn out off supporters was insane. Congrats to my home team!!

Home for the Weekend
So i came home for the weekend to get away from the crazy Uni bubble i have been living in for the last three years. Only i came home to find my parents have bought me a car!! It is totally insane and something i would never have expected, but i am so chuffed and i love it to bits. I have decided to name her Busy, as in Busy Bee, because driving around always makes me feel like i am constantly doing stuff. Its been great to catch up with family and take the pooch for some walkies. Its also been an amazing day for my home football team, Hearts, who won the Cup 5-1 to rivals Hibs. So overall its been a fantastic weekend back in Edi. Shame i haven’t had much chance to catch up with friends but its such a flying visit it makes it difficult to arrange, especially as they are all over different parts of Scotland these days. Love them to bits, but god knows when i get to see them next.

Anit-Climax
I have worked my butt off for the last three years to reach this very point in time. I am finally done with University. I have handed in my last project (epic dissertation) and presented my last pitch (to the lovely DLKW Lowe) towards my degree. And now its all over.
There is something very anti-climactic about it all. There were no party poppers at the hatch to celebrate our last hand in, which makes it just the same as every other hand in, in the last three years.
I am incredibly satisfied with the work i have done throughout my time here, and i have loved every aspect of Uni life but i just cant quite believe its all done and dusted. Its very surreal, and probably wont kick in until i get a ‘real’ job or it hits me in October i am not going back after a long summer.
Don’t get me wrong, i am not being all miserable and depressive about it, i think it will just take time to sink in that i have finally completed my life in education and that i need to take the next step in my life. The whole year has been so incredibly built up, and ultimately nothing happened at the end…
However i know we will be getting on it for the next week most likely in order to celebrate finishing our degree and spending the last few remaining days with course mates, housemates and other friends from uni.
So, Cheers to completing University and taking the next steps into the big bad world!

The World’s First Invisible Ad.
To launch the Lynx ‘Anarchy’ for him & her deodorant range the brand filled a terraced house in Sydney, Australia full of debaucherous, outrageous, anarchic behaviour however, the only way you could see the action was is if you wore polarised sunglasses.
Using large LCD screens instead of windows the willing voyeurs wearing the glasses were able to discover the sexy and anarchic things going on within the house. Apparently an advertising first.
